Assuming that your site targets a small niche, you can easily get into the top results in the most popular search engines. Here are some tips that will help you to optimize your website, so that it gets listed higher:

1. Remember that search engines look for text, not videos/pictures. Make sure you have enough text on your site that corresponds with the main keyword phrase that you've chosen. Regardless of the content you're presenting, add some text!
2. Text at the top of your page has the most value for search engines. It's a good habit to put your main keywords in the tags as close to tag as possible. But don't overdo it either - Google is particularly good at detecting cheaters. Whatever looks good and natural to your visitors should do the trick for Google as well.
3. Often, photos are the primary content of adult sites. Don't forget to use alt attribute in your tags - put there some of your keywords.
4. Make sure every page has unique title, description, and keywords. Don't be afraid to use long page titles - they should be keyword focused and relevant to your content.
5. Try to get a domain that has all your main keywords. Google doesn't care much for domain, but Yahoo does.

To create a gallery, you need a content for them. Don't bother to steel the photos that are already published in the internet. The biggest TPG sites look for original content, not for duplicates. This is a standard way of getting traffic in adult industry. However, it only works if your site is already getting a decent amount of traffic. Then, you can easily increase it by link exchange. If your site has very little visitors a day, you have no changes to get listed on the sites of your competitors. Most of the sites offer an automatic traffic exchange system that lists a link to your site only if your site sends some traffic back.
